This site was created out of an interest in playing traditional Irish music and an interest in web design. The site went live on September 15th, 2000, although it has gone through several revisions since then. With this new revision I'm hoping to make the site easier to update and maintain, plus take advantage of some newer web development techniques.
I want to thank everyone who has visited the site and especially those who have sent me feedback regarding the usability and functionality of it. I've received some great comments and suggestions that I will hopefully be able to implement as I continue to update the site.
One of the most popular comments that I have received has been, "Thank you for making your site free!" Well, I have no intentions of charging for the tutorials as some sites have. However, because I'm doing this mostly for fun and for my own education, I really can't guarantee any sort of regularity with regard to updates and improvements witht the site.
Those of you who visited the site before will know that it took me a while to get back at it, but hopefully I'll be able to invest a fair ammount of time now!
