Just wanted to make a quick post to say welcome back to those of you who have been visiting Whistletutor.com over the years. With the new design and backend control, I'm hopeful that I'll be able to be a more active member of my own website!
Anyway, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions for the site.
Thanks again!

That's good! Yeah, both Dervish and Danu are fantastic -- see if you can find Dervish's live album Live in Palma, it's one of the best live traditional recordings I've ever heard.

Hello from NJ. I wanted to
Hello from NJ. I wanted to introduce myself. I began playing the Great Highland Bagpipe (GHB) back in 1996. In 2002, with the birth of my third son I stopped playing, eventually sold the pipes...! Anyway, I have always been a fan of the Tin Whistle. Grew up with the music, my parents are both from Ireland. Took a trip there this past Oct. just my dad and I. Great time. Looking forward to getting started. I just purchased a whistle from Alba whistles in Scotland. Any suggestions for an old piper on the transition? Also, any suggestions on a good beginners tutorial?
Cheers,
