I have been playing the tinwhistle for about four months now and I have discovered how much I like the slow tunes. I would like to find more but I dont know the names of many slow airs to find the seet music for. Can you guys give some suggestions for slow airs that you might know of?

Sheet music for slow airs are a bit tough to come by, mostly because there is a lot more rhythmic variability in those tunes as opposed to jigs or reels -- basically it's hard to write out a tune that has no set time signature. The best bet is to learn tunes like this by ear, in my opinion.
