Now that you've learned the basic scales, it's time to play a simple tune to put those notes into practice. This tune -- a song called "Down By The Sally Gardens" -- is a great one to start with. In the video, I've played the tune slowly and with no ornamentation so you can get an idea of how the melody is played. I then follow it up with the tune played using some of the ornaments that you'll learn in the intermediate and advanced lessons to follow.
